If the person does not pick up, their voicemail will answer.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attended transfer<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/span> Once connected to a caller, you will see \u201cTransfer\u201d on the LCD screen of the phone.<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Press \u201cTransfer\u201d. This will automatically place the other person on hold.<\/li>\r\n<li>Dial the extension of the person you want to notify (the person you will be transferring to).<\/li>\r\n<li>Press \u201cOK\u201d .<\/li>\r\n<li>Let the person know that you will be transferring someone to them.<\/li>\r\n<li>Press the \u201cTransfer\u201d button to complete the transfer.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Note:<\/span> <\/strong>If the person you are transferring to does not wish to take the call, press the \u201cCancel\u201d button located on the LCD screen of your phone. Next, you will see that the person on the other line is on hold. Press \u201cResume\u201d to let them know that the person cannot take their call.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unattended transfer<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Press \u201cTransfer\u201d.
